Discover what product managers from Xero, Roam Digital and Trade Me already know about the COLAB difference

Product Leadership is less about the work you are able to, and more about empowering your team to deliver your vision. We're here to enable that through Community Learning.

Engagement and membership in online communities have grown over the past three years, with 36% of users feeling that they can have meaningful conversations and 24% feeling that they can really be themselves with their online virtual connections. However, there are many communities out there — especially for product professionals — and it can be extremely overwhelming to keep up with resources and foster a genuine connection with other members. So, we designed COLAB for product managers like you to connect and learn meaningfully through real-world application and practices. Here are the reasons why COLAB may be the right community for you.

Everyone’s voice is heard, with smaller, personalised groups

Not everyone is comfortable speaking up in a larger setting, and it can be difficult to communicate via a traditional text-based online community. COLAB’s smaller, personalised cohorts match product professionals based on their diverse experiences and facilitate live virtual discussions where everyone can offer their thoughts and ask questions in a safe environment.

Working in smaller groups also gives everyone extra time to think about a topic to discuss or debate, as well as time to explore solutions to complex work challenges.

Members create learning topics based on what’s currently happening in their professional life

This is uniquely COLAB — where members create topics instead of being instructed on what to study. This allows for conversations and discussions to happen naturally, as members get to discuss projects, concepts, and areas of product that they struggle with and may need help with.

Everyone gets a mentorship and coaching opportunity

A smaller group enables individuals to connect at a deeper level with each other, and we’ve discovered that this leads to 1:1 mentorship and coaching opportunities, which is rather rare in the product space.

Higher accountability for self-development and learning

Our cohort members have reported that they look forward to their weekly discussions and continue to remain active in their dedicated online community after the cohort sessions are over. We aim to foster collaboration instead of competitiveness by sharing access to a wide range of resources and other development opportunities and celebrating each other’s growth via their dedicated online community (we use Circle to facilitate these discussions!).

Expands your horizon through Community Learning

Working alongside Product Managers in different industries & categories provides our members with a new perspective on how others are delivering on similar challenges. These shared experiences are long lasting and provide a platform for future growth within the industry.

Applications are currently open to join our upcoming cohorts.
